Apparently he’s getting offered a two year deal at Saints? Has he been any good? From when I’ve watched Saints this season he’s disappeared in most games when starting or been injured. I know he’s on a free and all that, but he’s going to want big bucks.
Are you all happy with the signing?
I thought he’d do the year here then go for an easy life on the MLS, maybe he likes the easier life at SMS?

But quiet on here for a Monday morning, are you all out at the gym/primark/Wetherspoons?

Anyone got any?
A week travelling round Wales in June for me, five days near Barafundle Beach and then three days in Snowdonia, all self catering and keeping out of the way of people, hopefully.
Then got days off in July/August hosting family and friends on the Costa Del Solent.
Sounds like going abroad is going to be a ball ache.
Ings to Everton in swap deal
at 06:46 1 Apr 2021
Heard a strong rumour that Ings will be off to Everton in the summer in a swap deal with Walcott, Delph, Kenny and Cenk Tosun.
Ralf is all over it as it will be guaranteed players in which he wouldn’t get if it were a cash deal with Goa keeping the money.
More than a rumour to be fair, from someone very much ITK.

Of Ageus or whatever it’s called.
Has anyone ever watched a game from the balconies at the Hilton. My brother and family are staying there during one of the hundred games this summer and I’m hoping to watch it from there, being a mingebag and all.
Are they strict with guests rocking up?

I had mine yesterday in Southampton. I have to say it was an incredibly easy process, so well organised with loads of great volunteers and staff. I was talking to a nurse there and they are doing thousands of them a week. Second one booked in for the end of March, again seamless process completed whilst I was in the waiting room ready to go home.
It’s given me great hope that there is light at the end of the tunnel.
Hopefully come spring things can go back to normal.
Sunderland til I die

I’m a bit late to the whole Netflix thing, but have just started watching the first series of this.
Great insight into how football is and also a bit depressing with the amount of money that gets wasted on transfers of players who simply don’t give a toss. Sunderland spent around 350 million in the run up to their relegation and recouped about a third back.

Signed for United last January, has scored 15 penalties so far.
How long would it take Saints or Everton to get that many pens? 4-5 seasons maybe?
Staggering. Just as well we have VAR.

Fair play to his agent for finding him this amount of work.
He literally knows nothing.

What are you doing for your works Christmas do’s this year? Of all the things that could be passed over this year, the office party should be at the top of the list IMHO.
Today, we start our virtual ‘festivities’ at 9.15 with lots of virtual breakout areas, a Christmas quiz, a virtual escape room and then a virtual drink starting at 3pm.
I am dreading it, oh and yes we have to wear Christmas jumpers.
Ticket allocation
at 11:42 2 Dec 2020
Have Saints announced what they are doing yet with regards to the 2k tickets? My understanding is that Everton are only going to offer them to anyone with a L postcode. Liverpool have already agreed this to their season tickets holders. 1 in 4 chance for them as they only have around 8k season ticket holders with an L postcode.
Will Saints do it similar. It kind of makes sense.
Fully deserved win

Saints were miles better, organised, fitter and switched on for the entire game, bar about ten minutes in the first half before Saints scored.
I don’t think McCarthy has a save to make all game.
No grumbles about the sending off.
Just one of those days and very reminiscent of virtually every match I’ve seen Everton play at SMS. In these crazy times at least some things don’t change.
I’m off for a pint.
at 10:05 23 Oct 2020
Saints Everton is normally the first fixture I look for when they come out and is a season highlight regardless of the score. Bus into town early doors, pub by noon at the latest, back to the pub after, catching up with TUI A-listers , family and mates down. Always a great day out.
Sunday I will be watching it in my shed whilst working.
Gutted it’s not in April/May when fans will hopefully be allowed back in.

On his way to Saints according to the Liverpool Echo.
at 08:55 5 Oct 2020
Took my two nephews to Paultons Park in the pissing down rain. Great day and all that, but what annoyed me was the number of people there, signs everywhere about social distancing, wearing masks etc, but a lot of people weren’t bothering.
There must have been a couple of thousands of people there easily.
So why is this allowed and football fans aren’t allowed into stadiums? Surely it’s easier and safer to have people sitting in designated seatsin their bubbles, not moving anywhere, than have all sorts going from ride to ride and queue to queue.
It doesn’t make sense.
Southampton City Centre
at 09:38 30 Sep 2020
Does anyone on here live in or recently frequented the City Centre. Are all the students back and are they out and about like other cities. The rate of Covid cases per 100,000 is still way below the national average (which is brilliant) but I hardly go to town now, three trips to the pub in the last few months, so have no idea why it’s so low and whether we can expect it to rocket as elsewhere.
Festival of Brexit 2022
at 13:04 15 Sep 2020
Apparently there is a £120million budget to bring the leave and remainers and for us all to bloody get on with it.
'Festival of Brexit' can play 'powerful role' in healing UK, organiser says https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-54069456
Surely this is an opportunity for this board to get involved, put differences to one side and organise a bit of a piss up.
So come on, venue, entertainment, etc, what are we doing in Southampton.

Close to signing for Everton for 40 million according to Twitter.
File under confirmation, if needed, that Twitter is wrong about everything.
