I think some of our tight passing is as good as anyone’s in this league. We aren’t racking up the goals yet - I we were that post from the QPR board would definitely be different. |

I watch the Benjamin Bloom Championship prediction podcast and his opposite number , Geo a west ham fan said we paid them way too much respect. He’s a very even handed pundit who was very pleased with the result after being nervous pre match. We have every right to be where we are. |

It’s a massive sign of respect for us that the team expected to walk the division had to resort to those tactics. The ref was never really going to give anything against them so we can hold our heads up high and go on another good run. I think WHU’s trouble , like wolves and Southampton will be consistency - we certainly have an opportunity to challenge for the top 2. Don’t stop believing!! |

Eustaquio made a difference when he came on and West Ham realised it and tried to mark him out of the game. We put up a very good display against a very valuable and able squad. A bit frustrating that one of our efforts didn’t go in but all in all a good barometer of where we are. |

It’s the first I’ve said about the West Ham game but we deserved something out of it a point at least. So hopefully Matos has got the message into them that they have every chance of beating QPR just not if we show them as much respect as we did WHU. |

west ham 3 shots none on target XG of 0.42! Perhaps Lincoln are just going to have their entire team packing out the penalty area . On a positive note this isn’t the ideal prep for playing us. |

We’ve played yo-yo teams many times in the Championship but west Ham are not in that category.
A proper top flight regular team just visiting for the season, win this and it will raise quite a few eyebrows. |

QPR are a bit inconsistent but even on top form would they be too much for us? We seem to rise to the challenge whoever the opponents are these days. A point would be excellent but given what we did last night maybe playing a side who are more football oriented might be better for us. |

The thing is I suppose could be that they’re down the bottom because we among others have beat them. Acid test Saturday then boro away in November. Win those and we can consider ourselves top two contenders. |

A first start (I think?) in the league for him and he was flawless. Excellent block in the first half and very good in the air. Nice to see Welsh rested a bit too. |

Maybe it went a bit under the radar because of the other heroics throughout the team but his intervention taking the ball off the toe of the Millwall player saved a certain goal. And it wasn’t as if he just “got in the way” - he anticipated and moved about 4 feet in the blink of an eye to even get there. The reactions of his team mates said it all.
He looked razor sharp and was unlucky not to score twice. Fast and robust he looks like a bargain - and all of a sudden we have three very different top class strikers at our disposal. What a season this could turn out to be! |
