I would be happy to do the same again today for a similar result.
Whenever "The Saints Greatest" are listed Derek Reeves is never mentioned, despite scoring a record 39 goals in the 1959/60 season helped, of course by two terrific wingers - Paine and Sydenham.
He also has the honour of scoring all 5 goals against Leeds in a game at the Dell where the floodlights failed several times.
Imo the team that played at Maine Road was the most exciting the Saints have ever fielded despite coming down with a bump against Watford in the next round.
