Defensive midfielder please. I know everyone is banging on about yet another centre half, but the problems are the organisation and leadership in front for the back 4 imho. Someone to partner Romeu and let Ward Prowse push on.

I know I am a minority in this opinion btw.

Djenepo is not good enough. Not at this level. Elyounoussi is I reckon. Get rid of Djenepo. Seems a nice lad but not good enough.

Yep, don’t get the McCarthy news tbh. Also some pretty poor man management that it’s all played out in public about both keepers. Def the next priorities are keeper and CM

Good news. Squad depth looks decent this year. Most we could hope for given the debt the club are in. Top work this transfer window, superb. Good fees for players that would have run down their contract. Some good youngsters. Definitely a mood on the squad to fight for places. This new CB looks a decent player and experienced for the price.

Bang on. I was so critical once the team was announced and full of dread - how wrong I was. Luck I’m not manager. From the first kick the team and the game management were spot on.
