Danny Ings Nominated For Premier League Player Of The Year ! Vote Now

The Premier League has announced it's nominations for the 2019/20 season player of the year and it includes Saints own local lad made good Danny Ings. Saints fans can start voting now,

Danny Ings joins Jordan Henderson, Sadio Mane, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Jamie Vardy, Kevin De Bruyne, and Nick Pope as the Premier League's own choices for Player of the year.

He is in exalted company including 3 Liverpool players who will figure strongly noy just because they have won the Premier League for Liverpool, but because the Merseyside club probably now have the biggest Worldwide supporter base in the Premier League.

But Saints fans can have their say by voting via the Premier League website and hopefully enough non Liverpool fans will be impressed enough to cast a vote for the Saints man.

Fans have until 18:00 BST on Monday 10 August to vote for their favourite on the EA SPORTS website and the link for that is below.

He deserves it most really! I mean the only player who I can see as having a better season is KDB, as both Man and Vardy havenâ€™t been anywhere near Ingsâ€™s level as heâ€™s scored more than Mane, and was only one off of Vardy, but seeing the fact of the teams that they play for and the fact that Vardy had like 7 pens just shows of how Ings is better! I mean heâ€™s been the BEST STRIKER in the premier league this season, with having a goals per minute ratio only bettered by Augero, was one goal off of the golden boot and was the player who scored in the most games this season! But with Henderson, Pope and Arnold, Henderson and Arnold have just been playing well for a decent teAm which makes them look amazing, but when you look at what theyâ€™ve single handedly done itâ€™s not as good as most of the others and Pope has been the best keeper in the premier league this season but hasnâ€™t been as good as Ings! Really being an honest saints fan, the award should go to KDB, but Ings should be in a close second for CERTAIN!

underweststand added 06:22 - Aug 8 Hopefully ...NOT winning the Golden Boot may deter some clubs from trying to poach Danny ...at least for another season, although I'm sure some journos will run the story until the end of this window.

KriSaint added 13:14 - Aug 9 Ings is the best english centerforward in the PL. He has just had his best season ever, and I think and hope he is settled and enjoys playing for Saints and HasenhÃ¼ttl and will not be interested in getting a "bigger adress".
