Even pre COVID the debt was massive, so austerity didn't save anything

Normally these things are smear tactics but the fact that Private Eye are reporting on Gethin means he's bang in trouble now

Devil is in the detail, how exactly they'd tax pensions is interesting.

Robbie Gibb and Tim Davie are now advocates of Das Kapital now?

You make some pertinent points as always, my question would be is why did Sunak need to lie? Baffles me

Even Dan Hodges is calling out Sunak's lies.

Don't get me wrong there are probably examples but it makes up 0.01% of schooling (if even that much)

Brainwashed by a curriculum that the Tories have been in control of for 14 years.

Can we please stop taking the crâp printed in the right wing rags as gospel, please?

If he says what an awful lot of people think then why has he failed to be elected 7 times and bottled running for the past two elections?

Personally I agree with Richard Tice that we must have electoral reform as grifters on the right and left would be in parliament accountable to their constituency and unable to howl from the sidelines promising unicorns

But isn't that just population growth and the law of averages? More people = more events and we are more aware.

I'm not saying there aren't wrong uns (far from it) but Muslims make up circa 3% of the population and with any group of people they have their wrong uns. This nonsense generally peddled by the mail that they are the cause of all of society's ills is just not true (that's not to say that the small group of wrong uns aren't contributing). Cloughie was spot on

But he did though as did many of the prominent campaigners. Not all did as a point of order

Nope I think most sound people think things need to be done but it's more prevention than cure. Farage promised reduced immigration post Brexit and yet the opposite has happened. Simple solutions to complex problems rarely work

Or because bástards like Robbie Gibb are doing exactly what they were intended to.

Yes but he acts like his overly simple solutions will cure all of our ills. He has a chance to stand again and bottled it.
