Yes, it was as Clive was on it.
I think one of them now sends Finney an Agenda before hand to try and bring it a bit of structure as Finney is not a natural host and is prone to inane ramblings. I know Finney himself is the first one to admit he is not a great host so I do have sympathy but he spends too much time trying to be funny but it often fails to land and you almost hear the head shaking of the co hosts.
I know it is fans podcast and that many QPR fans will hate Chelsea, Brentford, Cardiff, but with Finney he hates everyone else and feels the need to let everyone else know. This season for the first time in 20yrs it has at times become unlistenable- which is a shame.
Listened to the Hoopsa one with Andy Sinton and that was a good listen [Post edited 13 May 20:27]

I have been keeping an eye on Jude-Boyd as he used to be a school pupil of my mate who is a headteacher and introduced me to Arkell at the Wealdstone pre-season friendly a while back.
He has been on loan at Torquay and seems to have done well there - but that is the problem they are Level 6 National League South. It would not surprise me if he resigned for them.
Arkell's problem was that Les and Warbs were talking to him about progressing as a right wing back when he wanted to play further up the pitch and we know how stacked we have been in the last year with players ahead of him in that position. My mate told him at the time to say "yes" to wherever he is asked to play to get himself established. Seems to have scored for Torquay as well. Wish him luck. [Post edited 13 May 16:01]

Been keeping an eye on Crawley as one of their players was in my daughter’s class at primary school and was part of the Watford Academy in Harefield when my Mrs worked there. Nice to see a local boy from a great family coming up through the leagues! |

Clive, I do get it, quality over quantity in terms of podcast output.
LFW Pod + 3 x large Jameson over ice was the perfect end to the working week.
Intelligent and considered and no waffle about hating Chelsea and Brentford and Cardiff and being old and Irish and stupid every 2 mins.
Quality output for pittance monthly contribution.

Great news!!!
We are going to have to accept, I guess, that unless Eze is sold early in the window by CP, which may change the financial landscape a little, then a balance is going to be needed between keeping some breathing room in the P&S position and keeping the band together for next season.
Will bigger clubs be ready to make a punt on JCS based on his staying fit for most of one season and come in for him - if so we do have learn learn when to cash in.
The ideal situation is that the coffers are not totally depleted and we keep who MC really wants and unfortunately offload others such as Ossie Kakay to free up the wage bill

The only video I am missing since last Friday is one of that Spanish fella laughing his nuts off about something, with the subtitles changed to suit the story narrative.

I pride myself on not being a gloater or participating in schadenfreude 99% of the time, but the contrast in my mental health from leaving Vicarage Road on the first game of the season and last night has made me revert to childish behaviour and seeking out Leeds fans reactions on You Tube.

I might have this all wrong but I have this impression that Ebs is a Sth London boy, born and bred, seems to be very level headed young man, I think he is married now and might care more about staying around his family and church community and might take some persuasion to move away from his roots, let alone move up north. Could be wrong but I think Arsenal don’t need him but could he go to Spurs or even West Ham, for less money but keeps him in London and happy????
May well be reading the situation wrong. |

Until recently I had that negative attitude about sponsorship from a betting company on the basis that gambling ruins lives. But then if we were told it was Guinness sponsorship again would we feel the same way about alcohol issues etc.
Not a huge fan of the kit but as someone says will look alright on the pitch from the stands |

I was watching that last night and cheering on Danny Murphy. Go on son keep planting the seed in everyone's head. £80m with us getting 20% of profit of sale from CPFC.
That should enable the board to sort out FFP for the next 3 years, extend Ozzy Kakay for another 4 years, give Frey an extended 4 year contract, not renew Asmir and then sign Woodman from Preston for 4 years - not that they will tell us the length of those contracts of course.
Joking aside, whilst everyone is getting excited about Eze moving on, if and when it happens, the best we can hope is that there is enough headroom in FFP for a couple of years so Marti gets a few bob to invest in a few more players - need Eze to move early in the window and not on Transfer Deadline Night! |
