Dale Trust met with the Hornets Trust recently and it was a very positive meeting.

Andy Mazey sponsored our home game v Altrincham and Richard Knight reciprocated by doing sponsorship for the Hornets game v Workington, with 3 other Dale directors in attendance.

With regards the discounted ticket offer for Dale season card holders, the standard admission for Hornets games is £17. The Cornwall game had an offer on of £10.

It just goes to show how critical owning our own ground has been throughout the period of the wrong 'uns.

In addition, we had the Morris clause to fall back onto, which certain of those willing to embrace certain wrong 'uns had no idea of.

However the deal to acquire the stadium sits with some because of the Hornets deal, without it we would have probably disappeared by now.
