Yep, there's a weird obsession in the prem league and it's like the whole of footballs blindly following along, the amount of needless goals conceded when losing possession around your own box is nothing short of amazing.
Man United conceded when still in the match at 2.1 down pissing about near their own box to then hand City game set and match at 3.1, not sure how any team/manager can ever think gifting players like Haaland the ball around your own box is ever the best option. | | | |

Remember listening to an away game commentary months and months ago and they couldn't believe how much we "over play the ball at the back" and "invite pressure" it was 2 former pro players commenting too.

Not sure people are delighted with the constant errors we make tactically and individually and that’s why there was a question asked about the way we play. We CAN be effective when we mix it up, we DO look stupid when we pass it around when we concede goals.
It’s McNulty’s biggest issue, because he too must recognise how much better we look when we don’t take risks.
Moulden’s departure is a major blow. Someone pointed out tonight how he knew when to go direct. That’s not a knock on Brooks, he’s just not as good at recognising it. | |

Terrible start and then tedious, sloppy and lacklustre. How we are just one down at half time is a mystery. We continue to overplay sideways and backwards when a direct attacking pass is possible.
Brilliant penalty save and we have forced a couple of shots but nowhere near enough attacking intent.
Barnet are not a good side considering they are 2nd in the league but we are making them look like Man City. Whereas we look as if we have only trained together once.
