I wonder what the impact of this virus is going to be on football. I can’t see packed stadiums anytime soon. How many clubs will go bankrupt? Will it create a more level playing field by taking a lot of the money out of the game? Thoughts?

I suspect that when lockdown lifts, things that rely on mass attendance will see a huge boost as people will be so glad to get out of the house they won't be able to resist. Pubs, cinemas, restaurants, sporting events.
Before then, teams dependent upon matchday income will find it very tough. Some may not survive. |  |
