Orchard Welsh Premier Women’s League champions Swansea City, will go to Cyprus in this year’s UEFA Women’s Champions League following today’s (22 October) draw at UEFA HQ in Nyon. The Swans will meet Apollon LFC in the first qualifying round of UWCL that will be played on 3 or 4 November 2020. This one-off tie will see the winners progress to the second qualifying round.

This will be the second meeting between the teams as they played each other in the 2011/12 edition of the UWCL.
It has been confirmed by the Welsh Government that the firebreak lockdown regulations will allow Swansea City to participate in the UWCL and play the Cypriot champions.
