The bigger picture is we having a good season based on our league position and raking it in with revenue and now with out going transfers.

However , I do see a loyalty to the players Monk played with in the Championship days.
There has been no evident transfer activity to strengthen the fullbacks where Monk feels Taylor and Rangel do not need competition for places with Kingsley and Richards as back up. Ash seem to play every match regardless of form in the prem , Routledge and Dyer are always preferred over Emnes and Barrow when both the former have had shocking performances this season.

Monks line ups are extremely predictable.. we knew we needed more quality in depth and with the AFN and Asia Cup and injuries/suspensions we are left to barebones.

Interesting summer ahead, hopefully we bring in the quality through the core of the side.

To be fair Al, I have seen/read lots re:the need for new fullbacks, wingers? bought in Jeff and with the 'other' 4 not exactly short on options here, same with central defenders (Fernandez? ) Couldn't realistically legislate for JJS could he?
As you rightly point out'bigger picture' is nowt to moan over, but, as ever there is always going to be room for improvement, its the nature of football .
