Swansea next, what sort of challenge are you expecting from them? They had a really good year last year but missed out. They’ve got some good players that play their style of football. I’m really looking at how we perform ourselves. If we play with a similar application, we’ll cause them problems. But we have to be mindful that they have good players. Really, it’s always going to be what we do ourselves first and we go from there really. This match is always important for fans because of the locality of the team but also they’ve got a few players in their ranks well-known over here, for example Korey Smith, Jamie Paterson, Liam Walsh. Does that sort of thing get a mention between the players? No, not really. I think that’s for you and the fans to talk about. I’m sure that if they are selected or if they’re fit, they’ll get a good reception from the fans. But that’s not something that’s got any motivational or actual interest from my perspective, apart from what they bring as players to Swansea as an opponent. I think that’s more in your domain and the fans’ domain to talk about, not really me. | |
