He was at the swans at a time when breaking into the first team permanently was nigh on impossible when you look at the players we had.

Kingsley then was sold at the start of the 2017/2018 relegation season the only left back we had was Olsson aged 29 who was by now guaranteed to pull his hamstring regularly
Our right backs were Rangel 34, Naughton 28 and Connor Roberts 21(wouldn't have thought Connor would be a first team regular at that point in time)
Amat who I did like as a player, think he played one game in the midfield and was quite impressive but he was loaned out that season to Real Betis given the number of central defenders we had and his relatively small size.
Taylor had by that point joined Aston Villa in the January of the 2016/2017 season
And Franck Tabanou was given a free transfer at the start oof 2017/2018 season.
So for the relegation season we were struggling a bit for a left back, he was only about 21. | | | |
