I was told it was £5.50 if you didn't have something moist with the pie. I think it's probably a fair price if it is high quality meat content etc. But as I said, the lads behind me said it was no better than the previous pies. But they seemed to run out given the large crowd so I guess people were happy to try |

I don't want to take the gloss off another win and 3 points, but I can only assume that the break from football at COA for 6 weeks had a big impact on things today. Has the stewarding company lost a lot of stewards in the break and too many were new and needed to follow procedures in full? The queues with 20 minutes to go were caused by the stewards. I wasn't searched, but most around me were. Seemed OTT but there may have been some inspection in place today. There will be a reason. Did anyone try the new farm shop pies? The lads behind me didn't think they were any better than the cheaper ones served before. |

Very pleased to hear that we asked and were given it. It's a sizeable sum towards the cost that would otherwise have needed to be covered by the Ogdens. Good that the Premier League do provide funding towards pitches for lower league clubs. |

Something doesn't seem right here. Carlisle announced it was an 'initial' allocation setting fans expectations there would be more. I doubt that Carlisle made that up. So what has happened since? Have the police intervened? Yes we lose the extra revenue and some might argue we don't need it. But in the same sentence we expect people to pay again for the Southend game. The Trust might know? Or the club could explain |

Been rearranged for the 27th. So frustrating for me having spent best part of £400 on attending the other two postponed/sbandoned fixtures, I can't now do this date due to business commitments. It does mean we have a lot of big games over the 4 weeks from next week. Enjoy the ride |

Would be nice to see him back but I don't think it is realistic. I was told that he lives in Lichfield, has a young family and his parents moved down there to be with him some years ago. Not sure why he would want to be going to Manchester for training 4 days a week when he doesn't need to. I am surprised that Wolves haven't eaten some humble pie and offered him the chance to come back for the rest of the season given the mess they are in. The manager he fell out with has long gone. |

Their own pitch was unplayable last week and the Truro team had travelled. Karma in force given the grief some of their fans gave out - some calling for points deductions for postponements due to pitch issues. |

Could be deemed unsafe in the area if the roads and pavements are treacherous too. Not sure we can complain about another club and their pitch given the problems we have had this season and the costs fans have incurred as a result. Sometimes best to say nowt |

Interesting footnote is that the National League still hasn't made a formal decision on the outcome of the Southend game after 1 whole month. I presume it will need to be a full replay....but why is it taking so long to let both clubs know? |

Deary me Rob. You have no idea what you are talking about. We spent a fortune in 2020 rebuilding the pitch. Not quite the sum you owed creditors, but a sum of c£700k as Judd shared above. That is not 'doing nothing' about the pitch. The club were told by advisors that the current pitch would last the season and the Board were prepared to wait until next summer to do the work. The Ogdens are spending a 7 figure sum to do it now. The tax payers aren't funding it in the way they have funded bury. And for a new club, you haven't yet reached the point where you will need a full rebuild as there won't be a public purse held open a second time around. But your time will come. And I can remember the tractor ploughed field the now defunct Bury FC played on at Gigg. You were the laughing stock of the league at the time. Short memories eh. But then you support a different club now. Anyhow, as somebody that follows the Dale closely, and know how many postponements we have had due to the weather and pitch in the past 5 years, can you tell me how many games it is? I came through Carlisle yesterday and was surprised how mild it was. If you look at the West Coast other games have been on too - like Southport and Stranraer. |

Karma is a lovely thing. Southend game postponed because they haven't done enough to protect their pitch. I only mention it because some of their fans were calling for us to have points deductions or be relegated because our pitch couldn't cope with the weather. |

Morning Daleys. A quick plea for those attending Accrington tomorrow. The seats are tight and the graduation of the seating is low . So standing up every time Dale approach the opposition box is unfair on those who are sat behind you. It happened a lot on Tuesday night and the kids sat behind us didn't see a thing. Its not right and if you want to stand please go into the terrace. You wouldn't do it at COA would you? Thank you |

Will be strange having our next two homes games at Accy. But grateful that they have helped us when we needed it. I see that Accrington play on Monday night, and then we play on Tuesday night. The weather forecast is very chilly - perhaps -1c during the second half. In fact it is forecast to rarely get above 1 or 2C all week. Praying that the weather doesn't get in the way of our games next week. As for the fans I hope we are travelling in good numbers despite the inconvenience. The coaches are leaving 3 hours before kick off so that won't appeal to many of those that needed a lift to the game. Just hope everyone can get there that wants to. You can see from the ticketing platform that we have about 250 seats left to sell - with terrace options available too. Not sure Hartlepool will be travelling in numbers as they have sold around 100 tickets so far. Lets hope the club gives this game a last minute push tomorrow and we can make The Wham stadium a home fortress and bring back the 3 points over Owd Betts. |

No need to panic. The balance sheet has changed as the new owners need to 'subsidise the club' whereas their investment initially on takeover made the balance sheet look attractive. What we didn't do is spend spend spend on players. The shareholders were given the details about a month ago and I think you'd be surprised at how low the playing budget is compared to the bigger teams in the division. |

It already is and was confirmed on our OS about 10 days ago. Even Morecambe fans is all ticket - no sales online on the day either [Post edited 20 Dec 2025 11:45]
