Like others this kind of stuff completely bewilders me - I go in to a kind of defensive cognitive shut down, my brain just refuses to engage. But I genuinely appreciate the work and effort that Simon and others do to help the likes of me understand what's going on behind the scenes at our daft little club. Thank you. |

Yes good point on Madsen the interviewee also making this good content. He's such an unusually unguarded and open guy for a footballer. |

Faurlin is really good at this isn't he? Like, amazingly so. Has he done hosting like this before? |

I actually hesitate to watch this, such is my nostalgic yearning for Ale. Like avoiding looking at photos of old girlfriends. |

Kone is bad for it, but I can kind of give him a pass for his lack of experience at this level. But there should be someone like Dunne or Hayden talking to him about it in-game. |

I watched with a non-QPR friend (which was embarrassing to be quite honest, horrible experience) and I said the same thing over and over in the second half. Absolutely infuriating. It's an inexperienced side in places, but you're looking for Hayden, Dunne, RND, Smyth to have a word. Hayden could have got himself sent off, and Smyth is about the worst culprit for cheap and unnecessary free kicks. Infuriating |

Where ever I've lived in the world there has been a decent sized QPR group - far east, middle east, even the north of England! I'm sure there must be a decent number in Berlin. Pro tip: walk up and down Karl Marx Allee shouting You Rs! until someone outs themself. |

I've missed a few recently too, annoyingly including the Coventry game. This one's on at midnight over here, which for a gentleman of my age is no joke these days... But my Charlton mate is recently separated with his missus and appears to think he's 21 again, insisting that we meet up for it... and as the day goes on I'm more tempted with each passing hour... |

I think you can add Madsen to that too. He's an enigma really.whilst he comes across as unusually sensitive, almost vulnerable -- the summer interview for example -- I reckon part of that is that he holds himself to high standards. I'm obviously speculating but I think there's a genuine desire to win there, and an unwillingness to settle for second best. In his own slightly dour way, whenever he's interviewed he talks about needing to do better. Hopefully as he grows in confidence, which we're hopefully seeing now he'll also grow into being a genuine leader on the pitch. Certainly his position on the pitch lends itself to that role. |

Nice! Quite the introduction. Looks he scored a late equalizer, then Grasshopper scored the winner in ET. J. Asp Jensen 76' F. E. Tsimba 80', 94' M. Frey 90+3' K. Hajrizi 7' B. Kololli 72' J. Lukembila 85' |

 | Forum Thread | Nourry on the transfer window at 14:43 3 Feb 2026
· 5h CEO Christian Nourry has provided an update after the closure of the January transfer window on Monday evening. Firstly, I want to say thank you for the electric atmosphere that you created at MATRADE Loftus Road on Saturday. I hope you feel that the team and our coaching staff did you proud as they demonstrated that this group can beat any team in the division. I am excited to see what we can achieve in the final 16 games of this campaign. Ronnie Edwards and Justin Obikwu We are very pleased to have added Ronnie and Justin to the QPR family on a permanent basis this January. Ronnie has been a player that our recruitment department has been interested in since 2021 when the player was at Peterborough. Last January, we acted very fast to bring him in and we were struck during his six-month loan spell with us by his maturity as a man and a professional, as well as by how deep his genuine connection and love for the club is. As was widely reported, we did attempt to sign him in the summer but were unsuccessful - we believe that Ronnie can be a critical player for our present and future. The board has been incredible in its backing of our staff to strengthen the team this year. Finally, I want to thank Johannes (Spors) and his team at Southampton for working with us on this. As for Justin, his profile was one that we looked at in a lot of detail in the most recent summer transfer window as a very good fit for one of the three different profiles of centre-forward that we seek to have in the squad in order to be successful in the Championship. A lot of the underlying strengths that Justin has demonstrated in his EFL and U21s career to date are similar to Rumarn (Burrell)’s. However, Justin is earlier in his career and we want to give him adequate time to settle and develop with the help of our specialist individual development coaching structure. Christian Pullella We continue to believe strongly in the quality of the athletic and physical development that young Australian footballers receive between the ages of 10 and 16, especially in key population centres like Perth, Sydney and Melbourne. We are excited to have brought Christian in on his 18th birthday to bolster the Development Squad - he is highly thought of up and down the Australia national team youth structure and in a position of increasing global market demand as a left-back. Michael Frey It was with a lot of emotion that we completed the sale of Michi to Grasshopper Zurich. In a different context upon my arrival at the club when we were under significant strain owing to our P&S position, Michi made significant sacrifices to join us and he was the first player we brought in. I have already spoken at length about what he and his partner brought to the club. Whilst we planned for him to have a more significant role in 2025/26, a combination of the timing of his injury and other centre-forwards hitting the ground running meant that the reality of the first half of his campaign was different. But I hope that I speak for staff and fans alike when I reiterate how grateful I am for his contributions in the last 24 months. Sam Field Yesterday, we permitted Sam to join Norwich on loan until the end of the 2025/26 campaign. In November, his camp very respectfully informed us that Sam was unhappy with the amount of playing time he was getting and asked that if an opportunity arose in January for him to get more minutes for the second half of the season elsewhere, then could we consider it? Sam has been at the football club for half a decade, always respected the fans and the shirt and therefore as a board we felt it was appropriate to grant this request. I wish him the best with Norwich ahead of us regrouping with him at the end of the season. [Post edited 3 Feb 14:44]
