My son and I watched from the sofa too, shouting at Sky for being sht. Scienza goal celebrated as if we were there, I threw my drink around, had a wee, shouted loudly and waved my arms around, all at the same time.
Still wish I'd done that bubble rubbish and gone though, but there we go. |

I think he's done a cracking job to be fair.
The fan zones are always buzzing pre-match full of families, it's a nice thing to see rather than an empty area around the ground with people mooching around looking bored.
Also tried Level 1 with my son for the first time before the Hull match, we played the mini golf and it was really good, we enjoyed that far more than the match ......... but that's a different issue.
Also the Dell Bar is quite nice, we stopped in their after a stadium tour and had some okay food in a nice environment.
So of all the things Saints / Sports Republic have done wrong, I don't think it's fair to say this side of things is one of them, definitely a lot more revenue coming into the club to pay for our next Bundesliga 2 excel analyst or Bazunu's contract extension ... |

Interestingly I think xG is a load of bollocks too, but ... yesterday it reflected what we could all see with our own eyes, WE NEED A FKING STRIKER.
Would've won probably 3-0 with a proper striker. The service is not there, the creativity is now there, the defense killed of Swansea (who looked poor but whatever). A decent striker, we win that 3-0. xG was right there. |

I think you said this, but badly informed is fair enough as most people don't do the research. I'm a geek, if I see a "fact", I will do my own fact checking and inform myself. My wife thinks I'm very boring, but I like to know.
I can understand why people do NOT know all the details, but at the same time, I wish they would WANT to find out and know. Schrodinger's knowledge rage. |
