For me, Sam Field is a far better player than Varane, but unfortunately Field doesn't have a famous brother who played for Manchester United

As sick and twisted as it was, I really don't think it was from one of our fans. The same account sent a really abusive message to Kilmarnock fc as well

pub opening times on match days
at 16:44 26 Jan 2026

Talking of pub opening times, before the west ham game the other week, I got the train into Waterloo and decided to go to the wetherspoons in Tottenham Court Rd. They weren't serving alcohol till midday, so we took the short walk to Leicester Square, only to find out they didn't start serving till midday also, so we ended up selling a kidney each and drank in the all bar one next to the Leicester Square spoons.

Anyone have any idea why they don't start serving till so late, when others are happy to serve from about 9am?

Swakleys/O'Donoghues is listed as 12 o'clock opening, but I was in there about 11.30 the other week. Think they may have felt sorry for me

I'll take no notice of fans who bood Aaron Ramsey for the crime of getting his leg smashed to pieces by one of their animals.

My brother was working security at Wembley when the Millwall fans all kicked off with each other.

He told me a grown man carried his son down the stairs onto the concourse, told him to wait there, and then went back up to have a punch up.

True story

West hams ground....

Exactly what I said.

Went to the wetherspoons in Tottenham Court Rd, only to discover they don't start serving until midday. Took the short walk to Leicester Square, to discover the spoons there also didn't serve alcohol until midday, yet the all bar one was happy to serve us pints at £8.30 a pop.

Now we knew it would probably be a ballache getting in, so we left with plenty of time to spare. Got to Stratford at around 1.45/1.50, and started the long walk across some barren wasteland.

By the time we'd got through border force and up the stairs, it was about 10 minutes to ko. By the time we'd got through another border force security check, tickets/turnstiles not working, and pure volume of people, I didn't get to my seat till about 2.45.

Walked through my front door about 10pm cold and hungry, vowing never to return to that hell hole of a ground.

Proud of the team, but a bit gutted at what could have been had we had our first choice 11 out there
