Needless challenge by Mbengue off he goes, put us on the back foot, sloppy closing down especially for Wrexham's winner, Rathbone allowed a free hit from 20 yards. Basically we threw that game away. |

Looks a promising signing. I do like what we have been doing with these signings this season searching for young talent throughout the leagues. I was impressed by Burrell right from the start and he has certainly been a great signing for us. Kone has also been good, but not as consistent as Burrell, but expecting a lot more from him next season as he establishes himself. Be interesting to see how young Obikwu does. |

Basically nice to see he has turned it around from how we saw him in his first season. Developed into a good player at Championship level. |

Defensively a lot tighter and we are becoming draw specialists, especially away from home. But Oxford are a poor team, and we are riddled with injuries. Two more tougher tests at home against a resurgent Wrexham and a table topping Coventry will test if we can compete. We miss Burrell with his pressing ability and goals. |

Interesting to read some of the Stoke socials that we came with a game plan to frustrate, not to lose and were physical (injured Stoke lad excepted). To be honest if that means we grind out points and don't get turned over as a lightweight team, I'm all for that, for far too long we have rolled over at away games, it could be a new turning point. |

Been playing walking football since my mid 50s, now 62 and love it. Play in the Northamptonshire Over 60s league for Moulton Masters. Our club has around 150 players aged from over 50 to players in their 70s, getting on for one of the biggest clubs in the country. Great banter and play on fantastic 3g pitch twice a week. Keeps you fit. Had the great pleasure of playing against Chelsea last season in quarter finals of a tournament at Northampton Town FC and beating them 1-0. One of our players a QPR lad even published a book about our walking football exploits available on Amazon, called Walking Back to Happiness. Few QPR boys based in Northants play at our club. |

No need for any negativity with Kone, developing nicely and building his hold up play, which any decent centre forward has to do. As you say in a couple of seasons could be a great payday for us. |

The team can hold their head up, going 1 down, getting back in it against a team a division above. In the good old days would have got a replay at our place. We gave it a go and can't ask for more. Just need to cut out conceding those late 1st half or early 2nd half goals, a bit of a theme with us this season. |

Yep would sign him, been very good all season so far, much better than other left back loan signings like McCallum, Laird and Ashby. |

Good player was Martin Chivers, tall and commanding striker. Fond memories of him playing for Spurs on their featured ITV Big Match games in the 1970s. |

Came away from Loftus Road happy yesterday, it was not a very good game, but we won which was the most important thing really and Kolli got two lovely goals. Concerns on the injury front losing Burrell and Varane, both looked problem injuries. The Poku withdrawal at half time again a concern, the poor lad just does not seem to get any traction in a game, so we just don't see what he can do. I wonder with the Morrison injury and JCS injured again that we try and really get Edwards in January. |

This game probably depends on how serious West Ham take it, regardless of how it is for them at the moment, they are still a level above us. We were further weakened with injuries against Sheffield Wednesday and that may well influence how we approach the game. We have a chance as long as we turn up, but I still think if we show our sloppy away approach which we have been doing since Norwich away we will get beaten. |

Don't get too excited especially with our FA Cup record, latest injuries and playing a poor performing relegation threatened West Ham all has a ring of last season's 6-2 thrashing at Leicester who were pretty much in same position as West Ham, and it is bitterly cold at the moment, as it was at Leicester. |

AC/DC on Highway to Hell tour 1979 at Hammersmith Odeon, two gigs, first in November and final London show 17 December 1979 with Bon Scott, wonderful stuff for a 16 year old headbanger. |

Why do they keep watering the pitch when it is in such a state, especially when it was freezing at LR today. |

Relief we got this one out of the way with a win. Kolli took those two goals well. Fair play to the Sheff Wed fans turnout in the position they are in. |
 | Forum Reply | Nightmare start to the New Year as Norwich beat QPR again - Report at 12:05 3 Jan 2026
All in this report Clive, my god Rangers don't half know how to disappoint their fans. As soon as that 1st Norwich goal went in, just knew it was all over for us. Is it the Barry Bannan show we will have to suffer yet again on Sunday?, watched that bloke quite a few times at Loftus Road just run the game for Sheff Wed, just hope we actually turn up, if not it is classic Charity Park Rangers again! |
 | Forum Reply | Gaffer on today's defeat at 06:06 2 Jan 2026
I thought Norwich did a real number on us, they had the game plan and basically took their chances. Once that 1st goal went in it was game up for Rangers, was impressed by Norwich's No.33 at the back was marshalling that defence well. Too much tinkering with the personnel by our manager and we look a bit of a shambles again. I actually thought Hayden was decent today and making a lot of good challenges in midfield, afraid Morgan looked out of touch when he came on and made some poor passes and got caught for their second goal. |
 | Forum Reply | Is anyone else feeling a bit depressed this evening? at 21:10 1 Jan 2026
I knew as soon as the first ten minutes unfolded that we were just not at this game, Norwich looked more up for it and it was obvious whoever scored first would win this. Their defence well in control especially no.33 who was their best player. Our boys looked well off it and got punished. |
