None of the content of the preview post chimes with what Eckert said at his press conference which was, 'there will be a couple of changes' Nowhere did he suggest wholesale changes so it will be interesting to see who starts.
The new keeper is an upgrade on calamity Bazunu. The squad needs trimming. If possible we need to offload Aribo and Edozi and bring in a big strong striker plus a box to box midfield with some pace and power. Can only hope things are busy behind the scenes but won't hold my breath.
Any replacement for the calamitous Bazunu is an upgrade. He has been a disaster we've had to endure for four years. He will continue to loiter around the bottom of the tables for worst goalkeeper as he always has done. Finally SR have faced this reality and acted but I fear we'll be stuck with him when he returns from this loan.
Did you drink too much at Christmas before writing this? You are suggesting we may start Fraser and Archer! Ridiculous. May as well start with 9 men and leave these two on the bench.
The last thing we need now is another slow small footballer who passes sideways and backwards. He's been awful for West Ham hence the club and their fans want rid of him. Hope we are not daft enough to take him off their hands just because he might score the odd free kick.
Will Still's attitude to this and any other competition is well known and well documented - he has made clear that he wants to win every game of football which is very refreshing. He will treat this match seriously and not throw it due to picking a ridiculous side a la Russell Martin.

What a load of rubbish to say Wrexham could have been 4-0 up - you conveniently overlook all our chances plus the two stonewall penalties. They could have scored more goals, so could we but let's not exaggerate. The stats show we had more chances than Wrexham and I only recall Baz making a single save.
Yeah, Everton and Wolves are teams we should get points from but we are going to chuck away the opportunity by leaving Martin to continue to prove he's way out of his depth. Madness.
RM needs to set the side up with a double pivot like the majority of top sides do. Play 4-2-3-1 and we will be more solid at the back and more flexible going forward. His version of 4-3-3 leaves us predictable and wide open at the back.
Clearly if a manger is regularly relying on fate to show him the way he is not much of a manager which mirrors my views on RM. Championship is his ceiling along with his coaching staff.
