No, but the truth could well be somewhere in the middle. |

On Norwich site: “I’m desperate to play football. The first half of the year hasn't gone the way I'd like it to and Norwich expressed an interest. It was an opportunity that sounded perfect for me.” Sounds like Sam himself pushed for it. We can’t have unhappy players in the squad. I’m sure Sam is a great professional and won’t let it impact his efforts, but right thing for us to do to also keep him happy after years of great service. We might even have received a decent loam fee. few 100K perhaps? |

Probably clickbait, but saw some rumours on twitter we’re in for a mid from Port Vale, Rhys Walters. |

Field leaving would mean Morgan stays and get a lot more playing time. I like that, but not sure we should let Field go yet. Depends maybe also on his personal wishes? |

I hope we can get RND on a perm. He seems to really enjoy being here and is doing a good job down that left side. I liked Paal, but RND is an upgrade imho. |

I think he has played almost every minute of every game also, certainly one of the players with most minutes. Perhaps only Dunne with more. Very valuable given our current state of fitness. |

Big disappointment/ failure that there was no reaction from the bench after the red card. Looked like a no-brainer to me, hook Kone and bring on Ronnie, see out the 4 mins and drag the result over the line. It baffles my mind how we continued with a defender short and paid the price. |

Should question the manager also, in injury, why not bring on Ronny when the red card was handed out? Just shore up the back and play out the 4 mins. |

Feels like this transfer has gone a bit under the radar. No "signing profile" article here on LFW, Hoopsa didn't do his usual bit on new signings, Hoops&Dreams I don't think said much about it either. The new player signing articles Clive and his crew do is my favourite content on here. (hint hint) |
 | Forum Reply | Main Reason you started following QPR ?? at 09:04 19 Jan 2026
Two reasons combined. I grew up in a small town in the middle of nowhere in South Africa, late 80's I subscribed to the newsletter of "The Cure" which I got once in a quarter. They were (and still are) my favourite band. In one newsletter, someone asked Robert Smith if he followed football and he responded yes, QPR fan. (and also that he was a pretty decent #10 himself, which I had my doubts about). Also at the time Roy Wegerle (born in South Africa) played for us. These two "links" combined was enough to get me onboard the crazy train. |

I’m guessing they are going to give Bennie some time as backup there and maybe some minutes to Sutton. |

Thought we looked pretty decent. Cooke and Dunne terrific. Smyth lively. Adamson and Bennie both looked promising, Bennie’s opportunity to break through now. He looked quicker than I could remember of him. Only disappointment was the quality of final deliveries in 1st half by Dembele and Mbengue. Quite wasteful at times, one led to them countering and scoring the opener. Sucker punch the timing of that. Walsh looked all over the place for the 1st two corners, but then composed himself well with a good performance. Two more injuries, both wingers. Vale and Smyth on the wings next week? |

overlapping a bit with HunterHoop’s point in the RE thread, but I wonder if sales are on the card. With the current injury list no, but financially maybe yes. And then limp home 2nd half of the season? With the likes of Morgan, Bennie etc getting more minutes. But none of our starters I would be ok to part with at this stage. |
 | Forum Reply | Nardi Hamer what’s that all about? at 20:57 5 Jan 2026
It looks to me that Nardi is coming off his line more often this season, with various degree of success. But I do get the idea he/they are making an effort to address that particular issue. |

I think that very much depends how how bad Morrison’s injury is. If he is out for a while, it means we only have Cook & Dunne and the latter is RB cover as well. Unless JCS is back soon. But agreed, LB and RB needs cover at least and a Ronnie Edwards in the mix would be nice. |

We look like we are running on fumes...if Burrell & Varane are long-term, I can't see us risking any other key players against West Ham. Sadly. |
