Criticism of Madsen was justified. Some of his performances were unacceptable for a professional footballer. I’m pleased he’s found the confidence to play and I agree that he’s now established himself as a key player. Is he Premier League quality? 🤨 Let’s just enjoy his football and not worry about that. |

Shout out to our traveling fans - really big effort the last few days, hope the players appreciate the support. On the game, I actually don't think we played too badly. In previous seasons I think we would have lost equivalent games, plus you can't ignore our injury list. Clutching at straws? Yes, but the other option is to shout into the void. I hope we win on Saturday to alleviate the obvious concerns. |

He's a product of his environment. |

My only issue was that the game was on a Sunday. I thought the atmosphere was okay and would have been better it if it was an evening fixture either on a Friday or Saturday. |

I left a minute after the final whistle. It was really easy getting back to Pudding Mill Lane and I even got a seat. [Post edited 11 Jan 21:47]

I have realistically low expectation for today. West Ham are bad, but still way better than us. They’ve also been a bit unlucky this season, so I’m fully expecting them to go in hard. We won’t be playing a full strength side which poses obvious problems, plus we got 9k coming for their big day out. All I ask is that win or lose, we do so with dignity. This won’t be a ‘giant killing’ and we aren’t the ‘plucky underdog’. |

I thought it was funny more than anything. On a separate note, picking up on the Varane rumours do you think we might be looking to play Ronnie Royce in the defensive mid position if it becomes available, or will we stick with using him as CB? |

Can’t wait to see him back at Loftus! |

Just looked at the pass details in my Apple Wallet and it says it’s powered by ‘Fortress GB’, haha! That will explain why it’s so bloody difficult to navigate. Daedalus couldn’t have done a better job! [Post edited 7 Jan 10:24]

After the final whistle he was stretching his calf’s, you could see the game had taken its toll. To be fair, looked like everyone out there was struggling. It was an unusual game and as good as the two goals were, I wouldn’t get too excited just yet. More than anything he needs to stay fit and get regular game time. You can see he has the raw ingredients but no amount of training will make up for game time. Hopefully he’ll play on Sunday. |

That was a strange game, felt like nobody wanted to be there. The pitch looked awful, the ball looked like it was struggling to move along the surface. Wednesday easily the worst team I’ve seen at Loftus Road in a long time. Would have taken some effort to lose to them. Very pleased for Kolli. Both goals well taken. Lovely move for the first goal as well, nice pass from Madsen. |

The people who write these sort of comments and send nasty emails crave attention. Don’t give it to them. It’s the worst thing you can do to them. Delete this thread and keep going. |

Don't forget how great we all felt after Morgan scored against Birmingham. A an absolute classic night at Loftus Road. Sadly, yesterday was another sort of classic game at QPR. That's how it goes. Let's be real for a moment, we're not getting in the play-offs this season, and we're not going to be in a relegation scrap. There'll be a few more games like Birmingham and a few more like Norwich. Smyth - 7 starts | 3 goals | 0 assists Chair - 9 starts | 1 goal | 2 assists Saito - 11 starts | 2 goals | 2 assists Dembele - 11 starts | 1 goal | 0 assists I don’t see anything here that suggests he wouldn’t fit in our strongest XI. We’re playing well, that includes those that don’t start or have been in and out of the team. |

Bloody hell, Madsen got an 8! Is that the highest rating he’s had? If so, that’s got to be a marquee moment in his QPR career? Redemption complete. He had a point to prove and he’s proven it. The team were well up for this and it was wonderful to watch. Feeling very positive about QPR at the moment. Long may it last! [Post edited 22 Dec 2025 19:26]
