Guillem Bauze reveals that he will be staying at the Liberty for at least 12 more months

It has been an interesting season for the Spanish new boy who scored the double at Gillingham that secured the Swans return to the second tier of English football after an absence of 24 years.

Bauza has confirmed that Roberto wants him to stay for another year and although he is yet to sign the contract on offer he says that is just a matter of time rather than anything else.

Speaking in yesterday's News of the World, the player said "I've spoken to the gaffer and he said he wants me to stay for another year.  Now its just a case of signing the new contract.  I'm sure I'll be at Swansea for a few more years.

I don't know when I'll be signing.  It might be tomorrow, next week or when the season ends.  There's no rush.

"I was pleased when the gaffer said he wanted me to stay because I'm very happy.  If I'm being honest I expected to be offered a new contract because I've been doing well and working hard.

"But I'm also relieved because after leaving Espanyol for Swansea last year, I didn't want to be looking for another club in the summer."
