A Bright Forecast For Saints
A Bright Forecast For Saints

Saints have signed a new keeper.

Saints have completed the signing of Tottenham Reserve keeper Tommy Forecast.

The wonderfully monikered Spurs reserve has yet to play a game for the White Hart Lane club, but has been on the bench some half dozen times.

Why Saints see the need to sign another keeper at the moment are unclear, however it could be that a complete revamping of goalkeeping personel might be underway.

It was rumoured that goalkeeing coach Malcolm Webster was off to Ipswich, but thats looking less likely and opening speculation that there could be an exodus as well as incoming between the sticks.

First out could be Kelivin Davis, who it is rumoured is on his way back to Ipswich, he could be followed out of the door by Michael Poke to Torquay and it could be a trio of departures as Bart Bialkowski might also be surplus to requirements.

If that is the case then Richard Wright might be on his way from West Ham that would mean Forecast as deputy to Wright and youngster Andrej pernecky as back up.

Of course Saints supporters would be disapointed to see Bialkowski go, but that would be tempered by the arrival of Wright.

One thing is for sure there are going to be a few moves out and a  some more players coming in the other direction as the playing squad as a whole is completely revamped, at this present moment its impossible to give an opinion on just how well Saints will do until the transfer dealings are complete.
