Nardeillo arrived at The Vetch on loan from Manchester United with Alan Tate early in the 2003/04 season. Brian Flynn hoped the son of his former Wales team-mate, Donarto Nardiello, would add some fire-power to the Swans' promotion push but Nardeillo had little impact in five games and went back up to Manchester having scored only one goal in his short Swansea career. Later in that season he was sent out on loan again, this time to Barnsley, where he scored 7 goals in 16 appearances Nardeillo spent the duration of 2004/05 on loan at the Tykes, scoring 7 more goals, before being released by Manchester United at the season's close.
