Transfer Window Was A Success Say Swans Fans
Monday, 7th Sep 2015 07:00 by Planet Swans (follow us on Twitter @swansnews)

It was really never in any doubt but Swans fans have voted the summer transfer dealings as a huge success with over 80% rating them at 8 out of 10 or higher.

The evidence is there for all to see with the side in 4th place in the Premier League and even more so the fact that Garry did most of his transfer dealings in the early weeks of the summer - he has spoken often about having a full pre-season to work with his squad and that is paying dividends at the moment.

The arrivals of Eder, Andre Ayew, Franck Tabanou and Kristoffer Nordfeldt were the dealings done and each of them has given us a second option in their positions that we did not have before they arrived.

We all know about Ayew and what he has achieved so far with the club but the rest of them have all played albeit in the Capital One Cup but shown that we have the chance to see more of them all before the season is out.

Our dealings are all the more remarkable when you consider that we spent the least amount of money of all the Premier League clubs which proves one of the old adages that it is not what you spend but what you get for your money.

Less than £10m was spent in transfer fees by the Swans, the only club to spend under £10m and that contributes massively to the success of the transfer window for us but also underlies the club philosophy that has served us so well over the years.

So from Swans fans to Garry Monk and Huw Jenkins thank you for delivering what you have over the summer and a big thumbs up from Swans fans

The transfer window is shutting, how do you rate our dealings? (1=low, 10=high)
