The Great Striker Mystery...?
Tuesday, 10th Jan 2017 22:27 by Planet Swans (follow us on Twitter @swansnews)

So if Llorente goes to Chelsea, we get Ulloa from Leicester or at least that is what will happen if today's papers are to be believed as the transfer rumour rumbles on with the one story that just will not go away.

The more it is talked about the more you have to think that this rumour has some substance and whilst the weekend papers were very much full of a swap deal with Chelsea for Michy Batshuyai today it is a different target.

This is not the first time that we have been linked with a move for Ulloa so it is easy to see why the papers may have made the link but that does not mean that there is any substance in the story as reported by the Daily Mail.

Batshuyai is reported to be more keen on a move to West Ham than South Wales which may force the Swans to look elsewhere which is worrying as it does suggest that Llorente could be on his way from the Liberty after less than six months with the club.

Ulloa s keen to leave the King Power Stadium but the Premier League champions are reluctant to let him go while they have players on Africa Cup of Nations duty.

The way this one is playing itself out I would not be surprised to pick up tomorrow's papers and find that another striker is linked although I have to say I think it would be nicer to read that Chelsea had abandoned hope of signing our man.
