LFW takes a look ahead to yet another, full programme of midweek fixtures in the Coca Cola Championship.

Welcome back once again to LFW preview of the forthcoming weeks, full programme of midweek fixtures in the Coca Cola Championship. The games are coming thick and fast now and the league looks as tight as ever, with probably and with respect, the exception of Charlton who look doomed and are well adrift at the bottom and a massive 12 points from safety. If things couldn't get any worse for the Addicks, they face the second best home team in the division, and make the relatively short trip to Reading on Tuesday night.

At least it is a short trip for Charlton fans as the F.A. have again come up trumps in thinking of the needs of a the football fan. Cardiff fans will be travelling to Norwich, Derby to Southampton and QPR to Doncaster on a Tuesday night. Palace have probably copped the worst this time around, making the mammoth trip to Turfmoor to take on Burnley in the only game on Wednesday night. LFW Preview of the R's first ever visit to the Keepmoat Stadium will be online soon...

After recent wobbles, leaders Wolves seem to have found their feet again and take on Ipswich at Molinuex, on the back of two decent away wins at Palace and Sheffield Wednesday. With the Wolves wobbling, second placed Birmingham have cashed in and are just 3 points behind the leaders now and 4 ahead of 3rd placed Reading. The Blues have a tricky looking tie away at Barnsley where as mentioned, Reading are at home to bottom club Charlton.

At the other end of the table, Norwich have a tough game at home to Cardiff, who with games in hand, look ready to make their own assault on the top two. Of course, games in hand are by no means points vouchers, but the Bluebirds look in great shape and go into this one on the back of two healthy home wins. Third from bottom Southampton, have been in good form themselves, but their 3 game winning run came to an end at Birmingham on Saturday, narrowly being beaten 1-0. The Saints take on Nigel Clough's improving Derby side at St Marys. Just above the drop zone and a cracking looking game comes in the shape of Watford v Nottingham Forest, with both sides in reasonably good recent form and just one point seperates them, in Watford's favour.
