Beat The Bookie - Wigan Athletic

I think it is probably time to stop looking for value in the odds right now as I seem to have carried over the touch that I have every Grand National where I could pick 35 horses from the 40 and still have none in the Top five.

Although I could half claim that I picked out the value odds in a missed penalty on Boxing Day although that right now is one bet that I wish I had steered well clear of.

The Swans have the chance to put all the wrongs of Boxing Day right tomorrow though when Wigan visit the Liberty for the next Championship game - the division where fixtures come thick and fast and especially at this time of year.

It has been 13 games since the Swans recorded a draw (W5, D8) but that last draw was a 0-0 result against Wigan at the start of October and if you fancy that result to be matched tomorrow then the draw can be backed at 5/2 with the 0-0 scoreline at 17/2.

During those 13 games, 9 of them have seen both teams score and the Swans have kept just 2 clean sheets during that period (similarly we have only failed to score twice) which seemingly makes that 0-0 draw quite unlikely given this run but if you fancy a team to win to nil then the Swans can be backed at 39/20 and Wigan at 5/1 to get a win to nil.

You would assume that one day one of our centre backs has to score a goal and all three of them (Van Der Hoorn, Carter-Vickers and Rodon) can each be backed at 14/1 to score at any time. Those odds are generally the same most matches and surely over time has to turn a profit...!

Finally for this game we fancy a real long shot and remember the fact that during that 0-0 draw at Wigan we wasted many gilt edge chances (we do that often mind) Maybe therefore tomorrow it will be the day that we put the chances away and record a big win so why not the 62/1 available on us to win 5-0. Act, it's only money...!

That's just the pick of some of the odds that we have seen but you can see the full range of odds from the Swans official sponsors Bet UK by clicking this link
