Steve Cooper - We have achieved nothing yet Thursday, 1st Jan 1970 01:00 by David Cornish A delighted Steve Cooper was interviewed post match after the 2-2 draw at Reading which ensured Swansea City are in the play offs. It was a good game for sure, disappointed at the end not to win the game. If there is ever a game to be happy with a draw this is it. The play offs are not an achievement we are bigger than that, Swansea have much better history than that. We haven’t got a massive squad, but we have sprit, pride and good leaders. We haven’t spent much since I’ve been here, that’s for sure, we are a small group but we have total commitment. With Andre he thrives on being the big player, he puts everything first regards the team. Our consistency over the last month hasn’t been what it should have been, no disrespect to the boys. The fact is we have been straight back at it here since lockdown, we have a strong performing culture. We have the attitude and spirit, there’s nothing wrong if I demand more than before, that’s winning. We have two games left to finish as high as we can, that’s the aim then it’s the play offs, we are there, but nowhere near seeing it as an achievement just yet.
