Queens Park Rangers v Swansea City rearranged details and FA Cup news
Thursday, 30th Dec 2021 16:31 by Carl Lewis

Originally scheduled for Saturday December 18th the game now is scheduled for an evening kick off in late January. QPR reported an excess amount of Covid positive tests to the football league and the game was postponed.

The game is now scheduled for Tuesday 25th January 2022 with a 7.45pm kick off. Always well supported away from home, and especially in London swans fans in the interim can now make plans for the trip to west London. As it stands English teams can still play in front of capacity crowds. In Wales they cannot. Since the Welsh Assembly ban on crowds at sporting events the swans have not fulfilled any fixtures. Fulham on Monday being the latest game to be cancelled. This means Swansea City’s next scheduled game is in the FA Cup against Southampton on Saturday, January 8th with a 5.30pm kick off.

This means if that game does go ahead the swans will not have played a competitive game for four weeks.
