Twenty year old Man City prospect now looking for a new loan deal
Sunday, 9th Jan 2022 19:50 by Felts on Swansea

Tommy Doyle the highly regarded Manchester City midfielder has not returned to Germany to continue his loan at Hamburg in the second division. He has struggled to get starts, and as we reported last month the likelihood of him returning to Germany were slim.

Failing to secure a starting place at second tier level will concern swans fans if the links to Doyle materialise in a loan spell. There are other Championship clubs interested in his signature and Russell Martin needs to think carefully on his next move with Doyle extremely inexperienced in the role that he would want him to play.

Doyle has excelled at all International levels

Doyle has played at six different levels for England including under 21 and has played thirty five times overall. He has scored seven goals. Russell Martin has indicated there will be player movement this week, a week where director Jake Silverstein is expected to return to the USA.
