Cymru depart for the World Cup whilst the Prince of Wales visits England Tuesday, 15th Nov 2022 15:44 by Roaming Morgan Cymru, with the hopes of every Welsh person or even Wales supporting football fan on their shoulders departed from Cardiff airport in the last hour to their training camp at Delta Hotels City Center in Doha, in the bustling West Bay Area of the city. Wales will be inbedded at Al Sadd Sports Club which is a Qatari sports club based in the Al Sadd district of Doha. Its football team, which competes in the top level of Qatari football, the Qatar Stars League, is known primarily by the nickname ‘Al Zaeem’, which translates to ‘the Boss’ ( Nation Cymru ) ![]() Now is the time lads The Prince of Wales chose to visit Gareth Southgate at the England training facility at St George’s Park. After his visit he pledged his support for England, the country of his birth. ![]() Wales depart … Wales ! The Cymru players will play all three of their games at Al Rayyan Stadium which is a superb fifty five thousand capacity football ground in Qatar. The ground is considered one of the best constructed and well planned stadiums at this years World Cup. ![]() The Al Rayyan With so much close by to the Cymru hotel and training camp the players will find themselves immersed in the whole competition being so central to the whole spirit of what the Qatar authorities continue to tell us will be a friendly and big hearted welcome.
