Wales need a win, as do North Macedonia. Simple as that to get a home draw in the semi final play offs in March. Lose and it’s away. But hang on, if Liechtenstein beat Belgium and Wales win this evening they win the group !

Paul Abbandonato is that man. His thirty five years covering Wales is encapsulated in his latest book. A comprehensive, funny sometimes alarming history of a man at the heart of Welsh football. Don’t take it from us here at the Indy, if you are a follower of Wales, and to be honest not even that you will love this book. We will review it, it would be rude not to. Especially as three of us here have read it.
