...involving various law enforcement agencies, raided the house two doors down from me early this morning. Hauled away an older gent who I occasionally wish a good morning. No idea what he's allegedly been up to, but very exciting start to my day, even though I had to kindly ask one of the coppers to move his flashing light vehicle from the top of my driveway.
..but open to anyone. One of the gents at work this morning was a Hearts fan. He whipped out his p...hone for a look at the HoM's score and I had a quick gawp at the goals. Not much interest really, but playing the decent boss, had to pretend they looked good and all that. What actually grabbed my attention was the small allocation for (G spot)Rangers, presumably all away fans. This the norm, would have thought it would be much bigger?
Looks very likely my locals, the New England Revolution, will be moving from Foxborough Stadium to Everett, a slightly grittier part of the Boston Metro. Forty-Three acres available with an ugly disused power plant currently occupying the site. It's about a 15/20 min walk from Sullivan Sq Station, but a little windy on occasions going across the Alford St bridge I'd say. No bars / pubs ('cept at the casino), in the immediate vicinity as far as I know, but Bob Kraft will surely sort that out. Doubt if any of the locals worry about endangered newts or Piping Plovers, except as a source of protein.
