The quality of the interviews is appalling. A mumbling almost inaudible questioner with poor diction, asking some questions apparently written by an 8-year old.
Why there seems to be an obligatory reference to the supporters is baffling.
We need a more professional approach, some adult questions asked by someone who can be properly heard and understood. None of this reflects on Jim or any of the players. They can only respond to what is asked of them, however poorly it is prepared. |

Well, it seems that finally the Justice system has woken up and has started to dish out some appropriate sentences that fit the circumstances. Long may that continue.
I agree 100% with your sentiments about those attempting to burn down accommodation housing those immigrants. Whatever anyone thinks about the asylum system or those caught up in it, attempting to burn them alive is deserving of a life sentence and I hope those involved get caught and prosecuted.
Sentencing should be more consistent for rioters and thugs who overtly show violent behaviour and there should be a deterrent factor about the sentences handed down.
Half the morons taking to the streets are simply hangers-on who think it's a lark just to be amongst it. Hopefully, they will see sense and stay away. Seeing some of the sentences being handed down today in various locations, I can't wait for the thugs from the Manchester Airport saga, appear before a Judge. Justice awaits. |

If you think we've been driven off a cliff wait until we hit the bottom under these lions who are about to take the helm. David Lammy as a Foreign Secretary? God help us. Last week he claimed that hormone treatment can produce a cervix after a course of injections. The internal fighting within the party will begin on Friday when the unions start to dictate policy and insist on preferable appointments in key roles. Starmer is leader in name only. He's weak and spineless. He has the charisma of a coconut. They'll have him out in no time. |

With people like Lammy, Rayner and their ilk as representatives of our government is trulyfrightr.ning. Where is Nick Brown? Suspended on an MP's salary for 2 years and we aren't allowed to know why. Just the sum of £1 million to find now for the bond required by the league. There has to come a point where the NL say enough is enough and remove them from the league. Of course it's the supporters who suffer, as ever, but I understand the dilemma the NL face. They have many other members to protect and they can't keep hanging on indefinitely waiting for people to fulfil promises.
Unless there's a massive upsurge in effort and activity from Southend, they're facing expulsion. Sad, but it's becoming the most likely outcome. |
