Spot on Butty (apart from Stewart who signed in summer of 24 & is not exactly young).
But previously we were poaching young players with potential ( including Broja on loan) until it was obvious that these youngsters could not keep us in Premier lge.
Hence we panicked & bought older players in an attempt to keep us up & then to get us back into Premier lge.
But it does look as if we are now going for players with Premier lge experience (albeit either past their best or possibly not good enough).
Let's hope the experienced players can do enough to keep us up & help our youngsters develop. |

It would appear that the owners have changed their policy of signing young players with potential.
Apart from Harwood Bellis all the players we've signed or are looking to sign are over 30 years old.
Are we starting a walking football team.

Lala is a good lad & served us well for a few years but it's hardly an ambitious signing.
I think he's been signed as a direct replacement for Stuart Armstrong but Stuey is a few years younger I'd have rather kept Stuey. |

With the transfer window opening on Friday 14th June I just hope we make some quick decisions & make positive moves for the players that we want or can afford.
Give RM a squad to work with when training starts, don't leave it until the season starts.
Dropped points at start of season could prove critical come May 2025. |

The rumours linking us to Broja are getting stronger but just hope we don't do it.
He'd cost a lot of money & he's totally unproven.
Has a history of injuries, we've already got one of them (Ross Stewart).
I'm sure that there are better players with better attitudes than Broja that we could go for.
I'm not sure he's any better than the players we already have, Che Adams has a better record in Premier lge than Broja.
We need an upgrade on Che Adams & Adam Armstrong & that is definitely not Broja. |

I wouldn't want Ings back.
In the last 2 seasons he's been involved in 37 matches & only scored 3 goals.
I appreciate that many of those games he only played a few minutes.
But there's a good reason he'd only played a few minutes, he just wasn't producing the goods.
He had a purple patch whilst playing for us but has since lost the plot.
He is not the answer for us. |

We ain't going to get both Flynn Downes & JWP from West Ham.
I personally would take FD, I just think he's got more to his game than Prowsy.
He wins more tackles & he's more prepared to carry the ball forward.
But let's not get too excited because we'll probably not get either of them. |

Stuey has has been great for us but all good things come to an end.
I'm sure we all wish him well for the future, whatever he does.

Not for me.
Broja is a one trick pony, his form dropped off Big time for us late in the season when the opposition sussed him out & it's continued to falter further since he's been back at Chelsea & his loan period to Fulham was a disaster.
He's a lazy player, contributes nothing off the ball & would not fit into RM's style of play. |

The club has announced that some of the coaching staff have left the Club,
That may account for the link with Lallana.
We are good at shoehorning people in so it would be no surprise if Lallana came in on a coaching basis. |

Virtually "zilch" , gone are days when we produced some brilliant young players. |

Despite not playing much this season Perraud is still our player & he is a much better player than Manning.
Perraud didn't look out of place in Premier lge whereas Manning struggled in Championship.
I know which one I'd rather have. |
