Whilst useful for providing an insight into the minutiae of the financial state of things to the new directors, once that's no longer necessary it does bring into question what specific skill-set is being brought to the table
If he proves to be an efficient lead in updating and fine-tuning the IT requirements as per those elements indicated by the office staff mentioned in Dalenet's post, fair enough... but one would expect a level of performance required by the Ogdens to be commensurate with the standards they'd expect in their business interests

Disappointing to hear of these tech problems. The question raised at the recent "Meet the Board" meeting was intended to elicit a response about how the tech side of the new regime was being addressed. A few improvements had been noted (mentioned on here) but clearly, there's a long way to go
On the other hand, the question was answered with a generic "we'll do whatever it takes to get the tech side functioning as well as it can". So these issues need to be brought to the club's attention. Since the new owners first made their name (and fortune) in the field of high tech, it shouldn't be something they're shy about getting sorted
I'll probably call in to pick up a Your Card in person so won't experience the online issue, but it'd be good if someone involved in one of the "work streams" mentioned in the forum presentation could bring this to the fore
I honestly can't see him being "dropped" under any circumstances, given the overall ethos which seems to be one of nurturing - which he's part of, rather than ever being seen to shout instructions to his team-mates
He's now also 31, so this is his last chance to make something of a name for himself by leading a team that will be remembered for the right reasons. I'm not sure his basic abilities will improve though his experience counts for something

I wish him well, for all our sakes, but i honestly don't think there's any point in expecting a change in style. Better footballers would obviously help; that's about it
You're absolutely right about the qualitative difference in skillsets and leadership, but what came across last night (and to which others have alluded) is the enthusiasm for the task
Taking the reins at Dale isn't just about philanthropy but also confers upon the Ogden clan an opportunity to establish a lasting legacy. Building world class businesses is one thing, and helps create the wealth that ultimately pays for all our public services, but taking Dale from the brink and building a lasting community asset should survive their current endeavours
Whilst it's right to praise the efforts and financial input over the past 3 years of SG and others, let's also hear it for those who've supported the club for decades, putting their money and support into the club over a lifetime to help keep it afloat
Interesting to hear last night that the reason the pitch issue is proving difficult to remedy is due to none of those who were around when it was resurfaced now being at the club

Aye! That was myself, just looking to add to the positivity and give the top table an open goal to tell us how they'd been dealing with the problems we've had in the past (not just the livestreams) but unfortunately it wasn't really taken up. I think everyone was just waiting for the match to start by that point - we're not used to so much positivity
The Ogdens are unlikely to be interested in any historical animosity between the two codes, although they might become interested if either club were to continue displaying hostility towards the other
It's just an idea, but would it be worth the Dale Trust issuing a joint statement with Hornets (if they have a Trust, or if not, just with leading supporters) along the lines that the only way forward is mutual respect and a joint commitment to work together to the benefit of both clubs
As you say, without both, the likelihood is that neither would now exist in their current form
In respect of which, it can't be repeated often enough that the overall focus of the Ogdens is to enable a self-sustaining community-based asset... regardless of the status of the football club
There's an aim to try to return to the EFL within three years, but the overall aim won't change whether that's achieved or not. They themselves are unlikely to have much input into the footballing side, being unaware of the deep trouble the club was in only a few short weeks ago

I'll be getting a Your Card again, but waiting a few weeks. As you say, it doesn't stop phone purchase or buying direct at the ticket office but it'd be useful to know if there's a generic issue with online purchase (i.e. anyone else having the same problem)
Just speculating here, but could it be there's a link between why you've not been receiving email info from the club and the logging-in issue you're having?
Summat to do with your registered details (even though i think you've tried to clarify this with the club)?
