Quick heads up, just been checking transport out for Wigan away. Looks like rail replacement between Rochdale - Victoria on Easter Monday. Good idea to get the tram or a bus into Manchester. Hope for a similar following to yesterday to cheer the lads on!

Not strictly football related (not association football anyway) but does anyone close to the club know if the Dale/Ratcliffe bar will show the England v Ireland game post the Dale match tomorrow?

If not, can anyone reccomend somewhere near to Spotland that will? Seem to recall in recent years the Cem has shown Union on their telly.

Are these completely different bars with different staff and ownership? I thought both were owned by the club and income we to RAFC.

Just got refused entry to the Ratcliffe by the bouncers because it was "too late". I'm happy to drink a pint in 15 mins prior to KO as I do every game.

Bouncers then let some women in when I walked away.

Asked them why they were allowed and not me and no real answer. Walk around the back and enter through the Dale bar and get served.

According to their site sold 2,3k out of 3k allocation already which is bloody good going and will make for a good atmosphere.

I thought they didn't care about us? (I certainly have no ill feeling towards them) Their "ultras" section seemingly planning on making some anti-Dale banners

Has anybody seen the advert for Channel 5's Hooligan & Proud programme?



Looks to be a feature on the Dale, with Newport away featured. If you wondered why we were being filmed outside the pub that day here's your answer. Can't say I'm best pleased because there didn't look to be the slightest hint of any violence on the day - all good natured - no doubt C5 have twisted that for their own gain. If someone at work spots me on there and I get asked about it I won't be happy.

Anyone seen the £2 entry offer for Hornets this weekend? They're really pushing it. Theres no Superleague this weekend to my knowledge and theyre doing a special day for the COOP. It'll be interesting to see what a bit of proactive marketing and ticket offers does for the crowds.Maybe if it works we can try something similar during international break?
