I was also at every Wembley appearance by Rangers, and every home game since I was six months old in 1965 to 1979.
I saw marsh, Bowles, Francis, Thomas, wegerle, givens, leach all play in my teams colours.

+1. I've had 3 texts today from so called mates who've not been to a game for many years, asking if I can get them the 'extra' ticket I can get as a season ticket holder. The very mates that when I couldn't attend a game due to work I offered them my seat, free of charge. Who they playing then was-always the question. When I reply Barnsley, Doncaster etc on a Tuesday night they didn't want to know. I want the tickets to go to fans who attend but for one reason or another choose not to be members etc. |  | | |

Gutted that they aren't doing this. Ex season ticket holders in our darkest years and first back up into the championship, but we only made it to 2 games this season (Charlton home and away). Not giving up hope but pretty resigned to not going with the way tickets are being sold. |  | | |

You've no idea about people's circumstances, whether they have or haven't had STs in the past and how many, whether they've been members in the past or any other number of scenarios. You've no idea of what sort of things keep them from being ST holders or even members come to that.
As for them wanting to see their club in a prestigious final at Wembley, well they'd be some sort of idiot if they didn't want to see it wouldn't they?

I just think its unnecessary and rude that you come on and judge how much of a fan we are. Since my original 'beg' post I actually think that this will go to general sale and so hopefully this thread will be pointless!

As Hoopstillidie mentions circumstance dictates many people's abilities to go to games week in week out. It doesnt make us less of a fan then yourself Glory. To you what is a proper fan? I would love to live in London or even England for that matter so that i could get to every game but I travel with work for a living and currently in Germany but having to spend nearly as much on flights as it costs for a season ticket. what we all have is a unique love for QPR and we should not get all billy big boots just because you can get to the majority of games. Are myself, Brooklyn, QPR_Arg, Maceo, or any other fan less of a supported then you? No we all get the butterflies, the nerves, have experienced the highs(few) and the lows(many) despite where we are in the world. Last season I got to 7 games this season unfortunately none but will not bother joining the so called "begging brigade" and if not on general sale will just pay OTT on viagogo. This is a time we all need to join forces and not create divides. No doubt there will be a few more so called "Proper fans" giving it large on the day, cant wait for that.
The fans who turned down tickets due to opposition should just jog on though as that is not acceptable. QPR vs anyone and any level would have huge appeal to 99% of us. | | | |

I was at the doomed Cardiff final, (the same weekend as my Grandads funeral), don't remember having trouble getting a ticket to that, we must be more poplar nowadays..

I'm not going to get drawn in to personal circumstances such as why we're not ST holders anymore or argue that we are more worthy than any other fan. You're all good people and anyone on here who knows me and my dad will know we are genuine QPR fans. Sorry if this has already been discussed elsewhere: I'm a member, but what I'm not sure about is can all members buy at the same time, ie. regardless of how many loyalty points they have, or are the on sale dates broken down by number of loyalty points? And as a member, it is just ONE ticket I can buy, yes? Once again, sorry if this has already been discussed, or if it sounds a bit garbled - but I didn't find the official site particularly clear. |  | | |
