I take your point, but isnt gambling a vice ?
And I guess some people might have an issue if Mcdonalds sponsored us.
Drinking , smoking, gambling, drug taking, pornography . All of it considered ok by some and not ok by others.
Ive got two good mates, who's lives were completely messed up because of gambling. Also my brother in law has serious issues with it.
I had another mate, who took his own life sadly, and one of his biggest battles along with drugs, was gambling.
Look, I dont have a problem with people gambling if thats what they want to do, I just think, as a football club in the community, it has a responsibility. Promoting online gambling isnt a responsible thing to do. IMHO. |

Gambling addiction a hobby?
Mr Q might be a legit business, but that shouldn't stop people questioning the morality of it, especially if they've seen first hand the damage gambling can course. I know most responsible adults can have a little flutter here and there, but there's plenty of cases where its gets out of hand and courses a lot of grief for families.
I might take up drinking and doing a packet every night as a hobby. |

This is the football world. None of it really makes sense in the real world. Nourry played a game and Cifuentes is playing the game. Neither of them, really give a shit about QPR, only their careers. Cifuentes loves our fans and the adulation but his bosses were complete arseholes. Got his contract paid up. End of. He's not gonna take QPR to task over some sort of libel. |

Pretty sure alcohol and cigarette brands are banned from advertising, and for good reason. Betting will be next, somewhere down the line.

I think the correct thing in this scenario , is those above the head coach should put the needs of the club first rather than his own ego.
What you don't do is fabricate an excuse to get rid, when everyone around QPR and in football knows it isn't quite the the truth. It doesn't add up , and Cifuentes has come out and said it blatantly isn't the truth.
We shouldn't except that at our club. Nourry should be answerable to us, the fans and the owners. [Post edited 3 Jun 13:59]

Because, i think, if you sack Cifuentes , then 1. You need a good reason for it. 2. The next manager has to be better.
I think one of the reasons a lot of fans are a bit meh about Stephan , is 1. we never got told a credible reason for the sacking, and 2. Stephan isnt much better. |

Watched Apex this weekend. I thought it was a really good film. Enjoyed it. Nothing too deep or dramatic or anything spectacular. An easy watch. Enjoyable thriller, that kinda reminded me of a 90s sort of film.
Michael Jackson. I got to say i really enjoyed it. What a superstar, in a completely different world to the one today. It obviously wasn't going to dig into the dark side of his story, but quite frankly, i thought that was a good thing. Just harked back to a more innocent times.
The music, his dancing and just his superstar aura really worked well in this film. Part 2 will be interesting. Not sure how they can carry on with rose tinted lenses through to the end of his story. |

I really dont think immigrants are the problem atm . Wealth disparity is getting worse. We've come to the end of the line of capitalism. Too many billionaires running the show. No political party can make a difference.
I dont know what the answer is, but since Brexit, things have got worse, not better.
I welcome immigrants. the more the merrier. Fk it, ive worked alongside them, as we all have, and most of them are sound as a pound , hard working and just want a decent life, as we all do.
Putting up borders and dividing people is the work of the devil. The only way the human race survives, is if we all work together. Those billionaires in their ivory towers don't want that, as that would mean giving up some of their wealth. Greedy c**ts. |
