qpr fans face the walk to the cottage....and we are so overdue a win there...recent results have not been good and we need to stem that poor run....at times we have made foolham look good with odd selections, collapses and tantrums ( is adel still waiting for the bus or does he need to top up his oyster??) ....still, another day etc....we can't keep clean sheets and in a derby anything can happen.
the curse of sky to throw in and all....should be 4000 r's there, hopefully making some noise. austin starts up front alone ( we expect) , i just hope the team realise the importance of this game and the defence settles and is solid. don't lose...and maybe nick something?

Modfather — again, Brighton had 2-300 in the mixed section of the Putney — they didn’t “pack out” the Neutral section!

Paul Parker — why have you gone in the Hammersmith when you could have chosen from 2,000 odd seats in the Putney?!

To anyone who hasn’t sat in the mixed section in the Putney before, it will mainly be Rangers and the Fulham in there will be good as gold. We haven’t had any trouble in there since we started with the non-segregation — not even with CSKA, Wisla and Roma fans. People seem to behave themselves when given the chance — it’s quite life-affirming! I’ve sat in there a few times as there’s never been a hint of bother. All very civilised.

My prediction: 2-1 to either side. Probably you.

By having the game on General sale, we’ve effectively given you a 6,000 allocation, which I’m fine with in principle — why exclude fans who want to go when you have empty seats? — but I’ll be pis sed off if as expected we only get the top tier at your place. Fair enough at Brentford as it’s the whole end, but at yours I think you should reciprocate. We give away home advantage by giving you and Brentford 6,000 tickets, and that equates to over 20% of our capacity.

I am with you on this Konk. For both Bees and your game at LR it will add to the atmosphere, even if it gives your teams a little more of an advantage. Certainly makes more sense than upper tier and then a good scattering of other Fulham fans around the ground, much as it will be at Brentford for us

Not even Chelsea got both tiers last season. We haven't given the lower tier to away fans for a few seasons now. 1,900 in the upper tier is more than 10% of the ground so no need to give more than that.

Having said that, given the low attendances this season it would probably make more sense giving both tiers to the away team when needed...

The magic word there is Chelsea... we should always give them as few tickets as possible... even none and just pay whatever league fine there is

We won't give both tiers and nor should we both games are in the back end of the season so if we're up there we will sell out easily enough anyway

If Fulham want to give over 20% of their ground for away fans then that's there choice nobody is forcing them to do it

My memories of Fulham are beating them at Loftus Road 3-1in our promotion season back in 82-83 and drawing away 1-1 - when the C mob were out in force

I remember when they had no money in the late 80's / early 90's and I gave them a fiver when they had the buckets out vs. Chester at home on a Friday night

Shit support enough said

Wish I could go... as a Fulham fan aged 8-14 years Wealdstone 14-16 Then Rangers from 16 years when I came to my senses, always had a soft spot for Fulham ( my old mans team) I found an old football annual recently and I had written "Boo " next to Man U when they knocked Fulham out in the semis of the Cup Think Bolton beat them in the final thankfully... God Im old

That was a cracking game in 82-3, but probably the best atmospheres I have experienced at LR. The run in at home was tricky, playing them, Leeds and Wolves, all of whom were in with a chance themselves of promotion. Prior to that run of games, I remember the fear of a repetition of the previous season when on the road to Wembley, our promotion push was pretty well put to bed with a 3-2 defeat up at Luton. Horrible night!. To end other teams dreams one after the other while securing promotion and then the title felt wonderful

Indeed - it would be nice if we don't self-combust in the first ten minutes like we have the previous couple of games at their place. Big loud Rangers support and both times it all turned to sh*t before the game had hardly started.

I think you're taking the neutrality of the Neutral section a bit too literally. It's not war-time Switzerland, it's a few blocks of unsegregated seating, where you're perfectly free to be partisan in your support.

"this game only have relevance cos for a short time they had the upper hand, now fayed's gone, pop!" Yeah, we'll ignore the fact we've spent longer in the top two divisions and the similar gates.

As for Chelsea going pop when Abramovich goes, I'm afraid that's wishful thinking. Like it or not, they're now a big club (I feel dirty typing that) and there will be a queue of horrible billionaires queuing up to buy them when they go on the market.
