Bet we still have about the highest wage bill in the league, it was used as a stick to beat Redknapp last time when we were winning games in apparently not the required style, I've not seen it mentioned much this season.

I wouldn't disagree with that Jon.

The wages that we will still be paying to Green, Henry, Fer, Phillips, Austin, Hoilett (and probably others) wouldalmost certainly make that true.

However, I replied to a statement about wages being paid to players signed this summer. Of course, I 'm guilty of extending that by mentioning Mccormack!

Because it's coming down, I would imagine. And also maybe because we know that at one stage we were looking to offload even more wages.

I think the wage bill is going in the right direction. Most of the Ferdinand signings are on reasonable wages, it seems.
