That's it folks. We have a Home Cup Final with Nottingham Forest, which we may not even need to win, as long as we get at least a point.

Bear in mind we will almost certainly lose at Norwich. So it could be a win or at least draw with Forest, or we may just find we are gone.

How on earth did we get here? Two successive runs of six straight defeats do not help. Simple.

I think fans have every right to feel pretty angry that it has come to this.

Let's just stay up FFS and pick over the wreckage of this season in the summer. Ollie's record now can hardly be any better than Jimmy's?

The blame lays squarely with everyone on the coaching staff and on the field. They thought they had it done and switched off in the international break, like they so often do. Lessons must be learnt this time.

We'd better hope we win against Forest, of course, but I also hope that Ollie stays. It's clear that his record has been patchy..... big patches too........ but I can't face another new manager and more chopping and changing of the team. People talk about weaknesses in the squad, but I suspect the main thing the squad, the club and the fans need is stability. If we survive then for goodness sake I hope we stick with Ollie and let him build on.

exactly. Also if villa beat brum today we'd have to lose both games and Blackburn and brum win both of theirs. It's one of those two I reckon.
