What a poor, poor ref. He summed up his performance in the second half, he stood chatting with 3 Blackburn players while their keeper refused to get the ball. It took one of our players to have to run out of position to retrieve the ball while the ref carried on chatting away. Seemed very reluctant to give us anything.
However, we were just shocking today. I can’t think of a player who had a decent game, maybe Furlong. Freeman, Luongo, Manning, Scowen all rubbish today.

Which says it all really how bad the standard has been this season. Blows up for people brushing shirts but nothing for Smith being pulled back round his neck, and BOS should have gone. The lack of not clamping down on time wasting this season by goalkeepers has been an epidemic, you can't tackle any more but you can behead someone, time added on at times has been a joke, no idea what constitutes a penalty anymore. |  |

As said on another thread, Cousins was down for 6 minutes on his own, let alone the time wasting, 6 subs with the Blackburn players taking an age plus 2 goals. BOS was lucky but the ref caused that incident by ignoring the obvious foul on him. Poor ref. | |

I was expecting 10 mins of injury time today.As you say,what was the point in booking the keeper 20 seconds from the end for something he’d been doing all of the 2nd half?
The BOS situation was caused by him not dealing with the first challenge.
