His issues with HMRC relate to the IR35 regs which have impacted on lots of people who’ve been self employed. It’s been a real issue for lots of people. His position has is no different to hundreds of thousands if not millions of uk citizens who’ve been in the same boat.

I wonder how many actually read the fine detail of their own contract of employment. On a couple of occasions I refused to sign a contract until it was revised.
