First goal for Sinclair 21:25 - Aug 12 with 4911 viewsnumptydumpty

Could be a significant moment in the season

Think it's great he haa scored in the league this early

Must be a massive weight lifted

Now to get his first at Mecca !!!

Needs work on his stamina and potentially be more selective when he makes his terrifying bustles towards opposition players in possession., so he can hopefully occasionally last out the entire match.

But fabulous to see

Top man

Potential cult hero in the making !!

For me the assist was way better than the goal. That said, we have seen LB's balloon them over the top so good finish by Paal too

From the Cardiff forum...."Smyth, Armstrong...and Fox outstanding...for QPR"....fair comment for those that saw the game (I didn't)??

Armstrong was the outstanding player of the game. He's suddenly showing new attributes to go alongside his pace, passion and strength such as calmness and accuracy.

Smyth was quite a revelation as a RWB. He had a very good game, oten looked dangerous and provided an excellent assist for Armstrong. Who'd have thought it eh?

Fox was good and looks more comfortable as the left CB in a 3. I wouldn't go quite as far as outstanding but very pleasing to see that performance nonetheless.

Imho:

Armstrong - clear MOTM. One goal, one assist, but also some cracking hold-up play, as well as his usual pace and aggression, one silly shot from a mad angle but he learned from that with his class composure, touch, decision making and sublime pass for Paal's goal.

Smyth - agree with them on this as well. Used very well, pushed up to the limit, he gave (an albeit out of position) O'Dowda a torrid time in the first half, culminating in him robbing his backpass for the assist for Armstrong's goal.

Fox - Sound, not sure he was "outstanding", as the back three really had very little to do for an hour. This was, it seemed to me at least, down to excellent positioining and cool defending when needed by all three of them. But they were facing the ball for an hour. When we lost our shape and the three really had to defend, I actually thought that Kakay made the most clearances of the three of them. I would suspect, however, that Cook and Fox brought communication and assurance to that back three, which is always hard to spot when watching on a stream. I'd love to know what people at the game thought.
