Free article about former QPR man 09:20 - Apr 4 with 1416 viewsLewisB

Morning guys!

If anybody remembers your former goalkeeper, Liam Kelly, you may enjoy this long-form blog post I’ve written.

It covers his time at QPR as well as the formative years of his career and his spell as captain of Motherwell, where he has earned a Scotland cap.

Hope you enjoy (or it at least fills a boring afternoon at work!)

Yep, really good read. Gotta say, the description of the 3-3 Bristol City League Cup tie ('QPR supporters still savour that dramatic cup tie until this day...he played a key role during a momentous evening in the club’s recent history') maybe a tad overegging the pudding (?), but a very good article nonetheless.

Thanks Lewis!

Kelly was a funny one for us - good shot stopper but perhaps not great with crosses or commanding his area. Didn't really offer anything much better/different to Lumley at the time.

Poll: How old is everyone on here?

quite liked him, he did alright when he came in but think covid and being away from family had an impact plus Dieng coming back and looking good
