First of all my apologies for starting another thread.
Finally got the dvd in the mail the other day and sat down with the old man last night and watched it.
One question...
Who is the Clunge repeatedly shouting "we love you Flavio" when the orange man is requesting names of the people that boo him? Complete, total w@nker whoever he was. Hope he was embarassed when he saw that footage. |  | | |  |

Just watched it last night as well. Without spoiling, three things struck me:-
1) We should never think as fans that we know nothing. We know plenty. We knew Palladini and Briatore were incompetent and ignorant, and we were right. If anything, the film is even more horrifying than anything we could have imagined at the time. Their behaviour in private, in the directors box, towards the players, the staff and the fans was nothing short of appalling.
2) The film is brilliantly made. I really thought the directing was excellent.
3) Unless I'm being completely duped, Amit Bhatia is the genuine article.

It was very confronting... Although i must admit i laughed quite a lot watching it. Whilst horrific GP and Tango are great entertainment. Almost didn't seem real watching it. | | | |

I thought Amit came across quite weak initially until Briatore stepped aside at which point he became much more assertive, starting with telling Paladini to stop insulting the players. You can see with Briatore that he has to dominate every situation and only his opinion counts: it must have been a nightmare for Paladini to try placate all sides and I can understand why Amit just went along with everything initially given Briatore's manner. Overwhelming conclusion was thank God he's gone. Must have been a truly depressing atmosphere around the place.
By the way, which manager was the one referred to as "the drunk"? |  |

Bhatia comes across like any other young executive sucking up to their boss.
Right at the start of the film he's in a helicopter with Briatore happily slating one of our players (Rowlands?) as 'a really terrible player'. |  | | |
