Paul Lambert still seems to think that Villa are too good to go down so that's them gone I reckon. With all the mayhem at sunderland surely they are fcked too and Reading pretty much gave up yesterday it seems. If you consider that of the other at risk sides we have Redknapp and Wigan have Martinez, you would think that the track records of both will come into play. So,the bottom 3 should look like this in May:

18. Sunderland
19. Villa
20. Reading

Has anyone done the bbc predictor? QPR bias obvious however I had it the bottom five as:

QPR 39
Fulham 39
Wigan 36
Villa 35
Reading 26

Wins against Fulham, Wigan, Stoke, Newcastle, Reading and a draw with Everton.

Hey, we're all in denial. That's what it's all about. It's just that if you support a team that does by some miracle stay up in May you can confidently deny that you were ever in denial.

Sunderland's next 3 fixtures are against Chelsea, Newcastle and Everton and they now have a manager that has never managed in the Prem League before, add to that the fact their captain and striker are both out for the season, if we get 2 wins and a draw, which isn't unrealistic, from next 4 games we are a point behind Sunderland going into the Reading game.

When I was a kid we were on holiday in the US and some idiot fell asleep in their hotel room with a cig in their hand and set fire to the bed spread. The corridor filled with smoke and their whole room burned down. We were five doors down and the fire alarm went off and woke us up to a dark room full of smoke. My parents got my brother and me dressed in our coats and told us everything was ok and it was probably a drill and nothing to worry about and took us outside. Secretly they were fcking shttng themselves.

Lambert's the same with his kids. "it's alright lads, you keep giving away daft penalties and stupid goals, not a problem, don't worry, ignore the smoke, it'll all be fine, nobody's going to burn alive...."

The weekend of 27th April will be huge. We play Reading and Sunderland play Villa. Think realistically that could be the first time we pull out of the bottom 3.

Exactly right Norf. Lambert is sending his players all the wrong signals and if you think which 2 sides have hit form, have upward momentum and experienced managers who have done it all before then surely us and Wigan will survive.

If we can just scrape together a few more wins we could still do it(now I sound like Pom).

It looks like Reading, Sunderland and Villa for the drop. Our fixtures are a stroll in the park by comparison. If Liverpool beat Villa today I would say its almost nailed on. Wigan a hard run in as well but the do have some momentum. Sunderland appointing Hughes would be a great result for us. Lets hope."
